Lucknow, June 20 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said the special investigation team (SIT) probing alleged irregularities in Ram Temple donation collections will unearth the truth within 15 days and accused the Opposition of trying to defame Ayodhya and cast doubts on the functioning of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. This is the first time the CM has spoken out on the allegations, first made on June 7 by Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav.
