Sell Amrapali properties to build unfinished flats, says SC
New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to provide information about the attachment and sale of properties of erstwhile directors and associates of Amrapali group by September 10, hinting that the proceeds from the sale will be used for completion of the unfinished flats.
In an order passed, a bench of justices Satish Chandra Sharma and N Kotiswar Singh said, "We want the properties to be sold and the money to go to NBCC and the land owning authorities of NOIDA and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) so that construction of flats is complete."
