NEW DELHI, July 15 -- Teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) continued their search operations for four boys, suspected to have drowned in the stretch of the Yamuna near Hiranki village in outer Delhi's Alipur area on Sunday, officials aware of the matter said on Tuesday.
Their families waited for the bodies to be found, officials said. Around 4.30pm on Sunday, the four boys, aged 14-15 years, had gone to the river to swim. However, the current was too strong for them and they were swept away. One of their friends, who had not entered the water, and fishermen, who heard their cries, attempted to rescue them at first. Failing to do so, they then called the police.
