New Delhi, July 17 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday questioned the Bihar government's decision to grant remission to former Bihar MP Anand Mohan in the 1994 murder of IAS officer G Krishnaiah, observing that "every dice was loaded in his favour" to secure his release. Reserving its order on a petition filed by Krishnaiah's widow Umadevi challenging the remission, a bench of justices Dipankar Datta and Sheel Nagu said the state appeared to have amended its remission rules to benefit a single individual.
