New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- The Delhi government has proposed an Rs.11,427-crore infrastructure overhaul in west and south-west Delhi, benefiting 3.64 million, chief minister Rekha Gupta said Tuesday. Projects strengthen 3,830km across 20 assembly constituencies, including underground reservoirs (UGRs), pipelines and district metered areas. Urban Challenge Fund funding is proposed at 25% Centre, 25% Delhi government and 50% loans or public-private partnership models. Two Rs.1,741-crore Asian Development Bank-supported projects modernise Wazirabad, developing 836km across 43.96 sq km, including 570km of new or replacement pipelines, nine UGR command areas and eight constituencies: Mukherjee Nagar, Model Town, Jahangirpuri, Azadpur, Keshavpuram, Pi...
