India, Aug. 15 -- NCP (Sharad Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar held a meeting with industrialists and representatives of industry associations in Chakan on Friday to discuss the various challenges faced by companies in the industrial area, including poor infrastructure and civic issues.

Pawar assured them that he would take up the issue with the state government and push for necessary measures to address the problems.

The meeting was organised against the backdrop of growing concerns among industries in the Chakan MIDC area over inadequate roads, electricity and water supply, waste management and persistent traffic congestion.
