rajnath embarks on south korea, Vietnam visit
NEW DELHI, May 19 -- Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Monday left for a four-day visit to Vietnam and South Korea to strengthen military ties and promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific.
Singh said he looked forward to visiting the two countries to further expand the scope of bilateral engagement. "I will focus on deepening strategic military cooperation, strengthening defence industrial partnerships, and boosting maritime collaboration to promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region," he said.
