India, March 24 -- Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) declared the Class X board exams on Wednesday, where 94.23% of the total candidates passed the exam, with the girls outperforming the boys once again.

Last year, at least 93.6% of the candidates passed the exam, of which 94.08% were girls and 93.16% were boys.

This year's result appeared to be the best so far in the board's Class X final exam, when 1,049,068 candidates appeared for the exam-of whom 551,534 are boys and 497,534 are girls, with 93.63% of boys and 94.90% of girls qualifying the exam respectively.

Of the total candidates, 1,047,950 were regular candidates, while the remaining 1,118 were private candidates. The pass percentage of the private candidates was 33....
