India, April 2 -- Raghav Chadha will no longer serve as Rajya Sabha deputy leader. Ashok Mittal will be the AAP's new deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha.

The Aam Aadmi Party has sent a letter to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat informing it of the change.

The AAP currently has 10 members in the Rajya Sabha, including seven from Punjab and three from Delhi.

Citing an erosion of Rs.48 lakh crore in Indian stock market wealth since the start of the war in West Asia, AAP MP Raghav Chadha on March 24 urged the government to extend relief to retail investors.

Speaking during a discussion on the Appropriation Bill (No. 2) in the Rajya Sabha, Chadha said the West Asia conflict is not "our war", but its impact has been felt in Indian markets.
