rabri devi's govt bungalow taken over by state
PATNA, July 4 -- The Bihar government on Friday formally took possession of former chief minister Rabri Devi and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad's long-occupied government bungalow, officials said.
This comes a day after the couple handed over the key of the 10 Circular Road property to the building construction department (BCD) and shifted to their private residence at Kautilya Nagar, ending a month-long standoff with the state administration.
BCD joint secretary-cum-estate officer Sheo Ranjan said thorough verification of the inventory was conducted before it took over the property.
