India, Sept. 23 -- The Election Commission of India on Tuesday announced the schedule for biennial elections to the Maharashtra Legislative Council's (MLC) Pune Division Graduates' and Teachers' constituencies, with polling scheduled for October 23.

Polling will be held from 8 am to 4 pm, while counting of votes will take place on October 27. The election notification will be issued on September 29, and candidates can file their nominations until October 6. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on October 7, and the last date for withdrawal is October 9. The entire election process will be completed by October 31.
