India, Aug. 12 -- Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday said they are verifying a video that is going viral on social media showing footage of the car accident in which Aban Ahmad, the youngest son of slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad, and his friend were killed.

"A video is going viral on social media platforms, which is being linked to a recent accident. As per the instructions of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jhansi, the authenticity of the said video is being verified," Moth circle officer said.

"We humbly request all of you to share or circulate the said video only after its verification and confirmation," he added.
