Lucknow, Oct. 22 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday ordered the removal of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and a Voter Registration Centre (VRC) operator of Pilibhit Sadar assembly constituency from voter list preparation and directed legal action against them over alleged irregularities in the electoral rolls. Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa said the district election officer had been directed to immediately correct the electoral roll of Pilibhit Sadar.
