Pakistan jolted by 5.4 magnitude earthquake, no damage reported
India, June 27 -- Pakistan was jolted by an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 on Saturday morning the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
The quake was 35 km (22 miles) deep, EMSC said, Reuters reported. the earthquake struck at around 8:36am (local time). No damage has been reported so far.
This comes days after two massive back-to-back earthquakes ravaged Venezuela and left behind a trail of destruction. The death toll in the twin quakes has reached 1,000, while over over 50,000 are still missing.
Earthquakes are common in Pakistan as it is among the world's seismically active zones, crossed by several faults.
