India, April 29 -- LUCKNOW Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday lauded farmers for their crucial contribution to the construction of the 594-km-long Ganga Expressway, noting that over one lakh cultivators provided land for the project, enabling its timely completion.

"Expressways being developed in the state are not limited to reducing distances, but also linked with major industrial projects such as the Defence Manufacturing Corridor.
