New Delhi, May 25 -- The penultimate day of the Fed Cup athletics witnessed a battle between pole vaulters Dev Meena and Kuldeep Kumar with both athletes rewriting the national record in Ranchi besides meeting the qualification mark for the CWG. Both logged 5.45m - the CWG qualifying mark was 5.25m - and AFI's selectors will decide who goes to Glasgow as Meena was named winning on countback. Kuldeep held the national record, having cleared 5.41m earlier this month at the Indoor Open Combined Events at Bhubaneswar. He had broken Meena's mark of 5.40m set last year.
