Noida teen kills father, jumps before metro train hours later: 'Was depressed over father's harsh behaviour'
India, Aug. 14 -- A 16-year-old boy allegedly killed his father at their rented accommodation in Noida and later died by suicide after jumping in front of a metro train at Sector 52 station, police said on Friday.
The incident took place on Wednesday and came to light in two separate stages. While the teenager's death at the metro station was reported shortly after it happened, his father's body was recovered from their rented room only late Thursday night, news agency PTI reported.
According to the preliminary investigation, the teenager had been staying with his father, who worked as a tutor, at a rented apartment in Garhi Chaukhandi village for around three months.
