Noida: Arun Vihar RWA rolls out 4-bin waste segregation system
India, April 2 -- The Arun Vihar Residents Welfare Association (AVRWA), in collaboration with the Noida authority, has started preparations to roll out a four-bin waste management system from Wednesday.
The RWA also started conducting workshops across parks and community spaces to sensitise residents, domestic workers and sanitation staff about source-level segregation from Monday.
Arun Vihar, comprising Sectors 28, 29 and 37, has around 5,000 flats and an estimated population of 25,000. Although door-to-door waste collection exists, residents alleged that segregated waste was often mixed during collection.
