New Delhi, May 27 -- The Delhi government will soon operationalise a hostel facility in Timarpur for differently abled female students pursuing higher education, officials said on Tuesday.
The hostel, with a capacity of 96 students, was earlier meant only for visually impaired women but will now cater to students covered under all 21 disability categories recognised under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The facility will provide free lodging, barrier-free infrastructure and disability-friendly support services. htc
