Mohali, Feb. 17 -- A 26-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning, a day after he was stabbed while trying to intervene in a migrants' street fight in Phase 11, Mohali.
As per information, the victim, Gursevak Singh, and his friends had gone to a temple during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday to pay obeisance on the occasion of Shivratri. While returning home, he saw a group of over 20 men engaged in a fight. Hoping to pacify them, the victim allegedly intervened but was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon.
His father, Balwinder Singh, a farmer from Haryana, said that after the attack, his son had walked to his friends and informed them that he was stabbed. The friends rushed him to a Fortis Hospital ...
