New Delhi, June 1 -- The Centre is working on setting up modern air-raid warning systems across India's "vulnerable districts" to ensure timely alerts to civilians in the event of hostilities, officials said.
The project aims to equip all 244 vulnerable districts, mostly those in border areas, with a standardised warning network to alert civilians to aerial threats, including drones. An official said the initiative was proposed last year in the backdrop of Operation Sindoor. P9
