India, Sept. 10 -- The Mint Money app is adding a new bill payments feature in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). The personal finance app already allows users to check their credit score, discover personal loan options and find suitable credit cards.

Puneet Jain, CEO of Hindustan Times Digital, introduced the feature on Thursday. With the new bill payments tool, the Mint Money app is expanding its offering to cover more of users' everyday financial needs on a single platform.

Users can check their credit/CIBIL score for free and get easy-to-understand insights into their credit profile. The app also provides personalised tips for users looking to improve their credit score.
