India, June 23 -- A dust storm swept through Gurugram on Tuesday as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert for Delhi-NCR, forecasting rain and strong winds across the region.

Videos shared on social media showed massive dust storms sweeping through several parts of Gurugram, with strong winds and low visibility affecting normal life in the city.

There were predictions that dust storm conditions affecting parts of Gurugram and Delhi would spread to other areas of the National Capital Region within the next 30 minutes.
