India, May 15 -- Days after a 28-year-old newlywed woman's decomposed body was found in a bedbox at her rented accommodation in central Delhi's Nabi Karim, the Delhi Police on Thursday said they have arrested the woman's husband from Kolkata in connection with the case.

Police said, according to preliminary investigation, on the intervening night of May 6 and 7, the couple fought over the dowry, and the accused strangled her to death.

"Multiple CCTVs were checked, and the victim's call details were analysed.
