India, April 4 -- A 35-year-old man in his SUV was shot five times by an unidentified man outside a dhaba on the Delhi Meerut Road Thursday night, and in his zeal to survive, he drove alone about 18kms, in an injured condition, to a hospital in Ghaziabad to save himself, a police officer said on Friday.
Police identified the injured man as Rahul Chaudhary, a resident of Raj Nagar Extension and a property dealer.
The officer said Chaudhary had come to a dhaba around to 8.30pm to collect Rs.75,000 from a group of people in Modinagar.
