man absconding over '13 spoofing fraud brought back from u.s: CBI
New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has brought back from the US, with the help of Interpol, a fugitive who had been absconding for over a decade in a fraud and spoofing case, the agency said on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Harnek Singh, was arrested upon his arrival at the IGI airport in Delhi. A CBI spokesperson said Singh was wanted in connection with a case in which Indian nationals residing or working in Singapore were defrauded through spoofed calls by fraudsters operating from India in 2013.
