Mamata targets EC over transfer of senior IAS, IPS officers in state
Kolkata, March 20 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday continued her attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI) over the reshuffle of senior IAS and IPS officers in the state. The chief minister said the move carried out by the poll panel was more of a political interference of the highest order rather than an administrative action.
"The manner in which the ECI has singled out and targeted Bengal is not just unprecedented but deeply alarming.
