India, Sept. 3 -- LUCKNOW In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the University Grants Commission's 'Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programs' (CCFUP), Lucknow University has implemented extensive academic flexibility in its 4-year undergraduate program (FYUP). The university has established three academic pathways for students in the fourth year (seventh and eighth semesters), a spokesperson said.

The university is offering a 4-year UG program from the 2021-22 academic year. Until now, the fourth year offered only the option of "UG Honours with Research", which excluded students with a CGPA below 7.5.
