Lieutenant Shardendu Tiwari on corporate boardroom to Indian Army journey: Service to nation is unmatched
India, Sept. 9 -- For Lieutenant Shardendu Tiwari, 27, the Passing Out Parade (POP) at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, was the destination of an eight-attempt journey. Watching his parents witness his commissioning, the weight of the moment shifted from the corporate boardrooms he once frequented to the disciplined reality of the Indian Army.
He tells HT City, "When my family arrived at the POP and saw me finally turning a new page in my life, it made my father, an ex-serviceman, and me very emotional."
Despite a thriving career as a cloud engineer at Amazon with a Rs.46 lakh package and offers from aerospace corporate, his focus remained on the uniform.
