Kin of abducted Loni man launch protest, allege police inaction
India, June 5 -- The family members of a kidnapped 42-year-old man and other residents of Ganauli village launched an indefinite protest at the Chiroi-Banthla Road in Loni on Thursday, accusing the police of allegedly showing laxity and delay in registering a previous FIR against the suspects, and failing to make any headway in recovering the victim missing since May 30.
They alleged that an action against the suspects at the first instance over a May 20 road rage incident could have prevented the attempted murder and kidnapping of a 42-year-old Omkar Singh on May 30.
