New Delhi, April 7 -- The Kerala government on Monday sought to be listed in the Supreme Court alongside petitioners seeking a review of the 2018 Sabarimala verdict that allowed women of menstruating age to enter the Ayyappa temple. The Left Democratic Front (LDF) government's letter comes a day before a nine-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, will hear the matter. The state in a letter to Krishna Kumar Singh, the nodal counsel for those opposing women's entry in Sabarimala, requested an hour to present its position alongside the review petitioners who will open arguments in the top court.
