India, Sept. 5 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police have identified the terrorist who was killed in an encounter with the security forces in Budgam district on Friday. The police said the slain terrorist, named Yasir, belonged to the LeT terror outfit and was a Pakistani resident.

"You Can Run But You Can't Hide ! The terrorist neutralised, during Op Ashdar, has been identified as Yasir, a Pakistani national of Lashkar e Taiba," the police said in a post on X.
