IndiGo raises fuel surcharge as ATF prices remain volatile
New Delhi, Oct. 6 -- India's largest airline, IndiGo, on Monday revised its fuel surcharge for all domestic and international flights applicable for bookings made from Tuesday, which will push airfares further.
According to a statement by the airline, it has "marginally recalibrated" its fuel charges in the wake of volatile air-turbine fuel (ATF) prices in recent months, especially following geopolitical issues in the West Asia. "In view of the situation, IndiGo has marginally re-calibrated its fuel charges across its domestic as well as international flights. The following charges will be included in all new bookings on IndiGo flights starting 0001 hrs on 06 October 2026," the airline said.
