India looks to FTAs to further boost exports
New Delhi, June 22 -- India is planning a nationwide outreach programme to help exporters make better use of recently concluded bilateral trade agreements, as the government seeks to sustain export growth and deepen integration with global value chains, commerce secretary Rajesh Agrawal said.
The initiative will focus on utilisation of nine trade agreements covering 38 countries that together account for about 60% of global trade, he said.
