India, Vietnam hold talks to Deepen air force partnership
NEW DELHI, Aug. 6 -- India and Vietnam reviewed their expanding defence ties in Hanoi, with talks between Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and a top Vietnamese military leader focusing on boosting Air Force cooperation and capacity building following the elevation of bilateral relations to an enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership, officials said on Wednesday.
Singh's visit to the southeast Asian country comes at a time when the two sides are looking at instituting a 2+2 dialogue of the foreign and defence ministries.
