New Delhi, April 9 -- India raised the fight against cross-border terrorism during foreign office consultations with Turkiye on Wednesday, the first such engagement between the two countries in almost four years.
India-Turkiye relations have been buffeted by a range of issues in recent years, including the Turkish leadership's position on Kashmir and Turkiye's support for Pakistan during a brief conflict with India last year.
The 12th round of India-Turkiye foreign office consultations, held in New Delhi, was chaired by Sibi George, secretary (West) in the external affairs ministry, and Berris Ekinci, the Turkish deputy minister of foreign affairs.
