India, Afghanistan to plan agriculture, livestock collaboration, form a 'Joint Working Group'
India, July 9 -- India and Afghanistan have agreed to work towards setting up a Joint Working Group to prepare a long-term roadmap for cooperation in agriculture and livestock, as the two countries look to expand collaboration in areas ranging from seeds and irrigation to research and agri-trade.
The decision was taken during bilateral talks between Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Afghanistan's minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, in New Delhi on Wednesday.
