New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- India on Wednesday said it is engaged in conversations with Russia and Ukraine on a ceasefire proposal and both countries have appreciated New Delhi's efforts. The remarks by MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal came hours after HT reported on the proposal that was conveyed by external affairs minister S Jaishankar to the Ukrainian leadership last month.
Separately, Russia on Wednesday said it was grateful to India for its readiness to help resolve the Ukraine conflict.P15
