India, June 18 -- The Bombay high court has ruled that a shared autorickshaw used by employees to travel to work cannot be treated as a "workplace" under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act (POSH), and has set aside an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) order that found a bank employee guilty of sexual harassment.

A division bench of Justices Suman Shyam and Firdosh P Pooniwala passed the order while hearing a petition filed by the accused employee challenging the ICC's August 29, 2023 decision.
