India, Oct. 27 -- A 30-year-old gym trainer has been detained for allegedly stabbing a 35-year-old man at the latter's house in Vasundhara and injuring him on Monday morning, police said.

According to police, the accused claimed that the victim's wife goes to his gym and he wanted to marry her, so he tried to get rid of the husband.

The incident took place at around 5.30am when the woman, 32, went to the gym as per her routine and the husband was alone in the house, an officer said.
