India, Aug. 24 -- The District Disaster Management authority in Gurugram has issued a work form home advisory for Tuesday - August 25. This notice comes after heavy rain lashed the NCR region on Monday, causing massive traffic snarls and waterlogging.

"In view of the heavy rainfall in Gurugram on 24 August 2026, there is a possibility of waterlogging and traffic congestion at various locations across the district," said the notice issued by the deputy commissioner.

The order called on all corporate offices, government and private schools and institutions to guide their employees, staff to work from home on August 25, 2026.
