Guj ATS nabs state Cong leader's son for 'getting passport with fake docs'
Ahmedabad, Sept. 17 -- The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad has arrested Harikesh Patel, son of Gujarat Pradesh Mahila Congress president Gitaben Patel, for allegedly obtaining a second passport on forged documents after his original had been surrendered in court, ATS officials said.
Patel used the second passport to travel to Bangkok, Singapore and Dubai via Bhutan and returned to India through Nepal, officials said.
His first passport was deposited in court during an Enforcement Directorate probe into an online investment fraud case, ATS officials said.
