New Delhi, April 15 -- India's green hydrogen push remains far off target, with just 8,000 tonnes per annum commissioned by February -- about 0.16% of the 5 mtpa target for 2030 under the Rs.19,744 crore National Green Hydrogen Mission. Fund utilisation has improved, rising from negligible levels in 2023-24 to 68% in 2025-26 (RE), but remains uneven. The slow pace has come under scrutiny following the energy crisis, resulting from the war in West Asia. P16
