Global effort key to win in war on drugs, says Shah
New Delhi, May 16 -- Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday called for a unified global effort on the war on drugs, calling upon ambassadors and diplomats of around 40 countries to join the fight, the home ministry said in a statement.
He was delivering the R N Kao memorial lecture of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) in Delhi. The event was attended by ambassadors and diplomats from 40 countries, including US envoy Sergio Gor, and senior officials from the Indian security apparatus.
