India, Sept. 23 -- Gautam Adani and family topped the Hurun India Rich List 2026 with a net worth of over Rs.9.22 lakh crore, followed by Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and family with Rs.8.63 lakh crore.

Adani, whose business interests span the energy sector, had Ahmedabad as his listed base, while Ambani with Reliance Industries had Mumbai as his listed base. The industrialists were followed by Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and family with a net worth of Rs. 3.39 lakh crore, whose principal business is ArcelorMittal, based in London, according to the list.
