Four of a family drown in raj, 2 others rescued
Jaipur, July 13 -- Four members of a family, including three siblings, drowned while bathing in Vatrak pond in Dungarpur's Badi village on Sunday morning, police said, adding that two children were rescued and admitted to hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Hina Damor (24), Pratik Damor (20), and Ishita Damor (15), the three children of farmer Babu Singh Damor of Badi village, and their cousin Raunak Parmar (20), a resident of Palanpur in neighbouring Gujarat. Two other children, Rajveer Damor and Jaisingh Damor, were rescued and admitted to Simalwara Hospital.
According to police, the group had gone to the pond for a bath around 10am when they accidentally ventured into deep water and began drowning.
