India, Oct. 28 -- Former West Bengal minister Indranil Sen was arrested by Kolkata Police on Wednesday after being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by Kolkata police.

The investigation centres on alleged financial irregularities involving the Mass Art Society, an organisation headed by Sen's wife. The organisation is accused of collecting Rs.50-60 crore from the public by allegedly claiming links to a UNESCO-sponsored entity for Durga Puja preview shows and VIP ticket sales.
