India, Oct. 24 -- The Delhi government's food safety department seized over 322 kg of ghee during inspection of stores advertising steep discounts on social media, including offers of up to 60% off and 'Buy One, Get One Free', officials said on Friday.

The department seized 246 kg of ghee from a store in Hastal village and 75.53 litres from another in Vikaspuri. Samples of ghee from different brands were collected during the inspections.

The findings will be assessed along with laboratory test reports before further action is taken, read a statement from the chief minister's office.
