Ghaziabad, July 3 -- Hours after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death, allegedly by a group of people at the New Shanti Nagar locality in Ghaziabad on Wednesday night, his family briefly staged a protest on the NH-9 on Thursday morning, leading to snarls. Police identified the victim as Mohit Sharma. Officials said he was allegedly invited to a birthday party by six of his friends to a house in the area, where they stabbed him to death. Police said the incident was reported around 3.30am, and Sharma was rushed to MMG hospital, where he was declared dead.
