India, April 28 -- The second and final phase of the West Bengal assembly elections will be held on Wednesday (April 29), after the first phase ended on Thursday (April 23), alongside polling for the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Once voting concludes in West Bengal, all eyes will be on the exit poll predictions for the high-stakes contest, along with projections for Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry.

Votes for all the states and the union territory will be counted together on Monday (May 4). High voter turnout, particularly in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, has increased interest in the final outcome.
